From SaaS to AI‑native.

The request was chat. I led the shift to a product that could talk, show evidence, and complete the work: conversation plus Surfaces.

This page is the argument. The reframe and the system hold the evidence.
Situation

The modular platform had limited market pull.

Nayya had spent roughly a year replatforming its products as modular micro-apps as demand for AI accelerated.

Mandate

Define whether AI was a feature or a new product model.

The assignment began as a conversational assistant. The strategic question became what AI could make meaningfully better across the benefits journey.

My contribution

Lead and sole product designer.

I co-led strategy with Product, defined the interaction and trust models, established rapid cross-functional playtesting, and aligned executive through delivery teams.

Decision

Move from chat-only to conversation plus Surfaces.

Jupiter showed that chat improved access and explanation but could not support every complex, consequential task.

Result

Production pilot and continued strategic investment.

Titan tested better with clients and informed broader AI-native architecture and benefits-shopping work. The evidence was directional rather than mature adoption.
